I’m having an issue with my PC. It uses around 25Mb/s when streaming Steam, but this limit is causing problems in Steam itself and on Netlimiter 4. On the FritzBox it shows a much higher usage of about 200MB/s. When I stop downloading in Steam, the usage drops to nearly zero. With Netlimiter 4 enabled, the network speed on my PC drops to around 60MB/s, which isn’t consistent. I’m not sure how the full 200MB/s is achieved for downloads like Steam, especially since it doesn’t seem faster than the 25MB/s rate. My LAN cable is also exceeding capacity, and the switch only supports a maximum output of 100MB/s, making it unclear why such high speeds are possible. I really need your help.

The Fritzbox displays speed in Mb/s, whereas Steam shows it in MB/s. To convert, divide by 8 since there are 8 bits in a byte. For example, 200Mb/s equals 25MB/s. Both platforms have their own methods for presenting speed.
Adjusting settings in Steam and Downloads to reflect your router's specifications can be helpful. However, the interface for setting bandwidth limits remains unchanged, meaning you'll still have to perform conversions to determine the appropriate limits.
