So when i booted up today i checked task manager to se that my cpu base speed was measuring 8.0ghz and was running at 3.6 - 3.8ghz and looked everywhere for someone with the same problem but nobody seemed to have this problem. 800mhz represents the minimum power setting of the processor. It's just notifying you about that. This is intended for saving energy and when the system is idle. For more details on core speeds, use Cpu-z and check the frequency display. Right-click to view all cores.
