Hi, I've faced several problems with my ADSL connection, mostly with ping spikes and unexpected drops. About two days ago I switched to VDSL, which increased the download speed three times. So far I haven't experienced any disconnections. Still, there are occasional issues where speeds drop to 3-5 megabits per second. Restarting the modem fixes it temporarily, but I'm looking for a lasting fix. Page and video loading feels slow, especially when opening simple text pages—it takes a long time to load on a blank white screen. Modem model: Tplink TD- w9960, country: Lebanon. I replaced cables and filters, but that didn't help. Firmware is up to date, and diagnostics show no problems.

I reached out to them, they assured me there was nothing incorrect on their part, and my neighbor in the same building who is using their internet isn’t facing any issues.

If restarting the modem resolves the problem, the issue likely lies with them.
