Issue Overview: My PC shuts down at 3200mhz (Trident Z RGB 3200mhz 2x8GB). This limits my RAM usage to 2133mhz. The graphics card I changed is an RX5700XT. I’m unsure if the problem lies with the driver or my RAM. I attempted manual overclocking without success. It first happened after installing Modern Warfare Code. At full speed (2133mhz) I run a 7i7 i5 with a 650W 80+ Gold PSU and a Thermaltek deep cool cooler, reaching up to 80°C on the GPU.

What processor and motherboard are you employing? Is the most recent BIOS active? Are the two modules positioned in the DIMM slots 2 and 4 of the system?

i7-7700k installed on Z270 MSI gaming pro carbon RX 5700 XT with 3200MHz TRIDENT RGB G.skill power supply at 650W, 80+ Gold. Used a half-modular thermal solution from Thermaltek for deep cooling, aiming for a max temperature of 80°C with XMP support. Added an extra RGB cooler to help manage heat.

Place the device in slots 2 and 4. Set VCO to 1.1, VCCSA to 1.35, and test with 2666. Run memtest86 or OCCT to verify stability. If stable, proceed to 2933 and repeat testing. If stable, continue to 3200.

The GPU change shouldn’t impact your RAM performance or stability. Also, isn’t it unusual to run a CPU overclock?

I tried before and it still functioned. It's similar to what happens right after modern warfare is introduced—everything goes wrong. I often delete the game if it doesn't work.
