I found several articles titled "Windows 9" or "Windows 8.2 update." They mentioned a possible release for Windows 9 in December 2014, with different versions like desktop and tablet options. It seems Windows might try to revive itself after the issues with Windows 8. I’m curious about what these updates would entail and whether multiple versions are feasible. Would you say this is something that could realistically happen?

I believe Windows 9 is expected to release next year, likely alongside the upcoming Windows Phone version.

Win 8 wasn't a disaster—it just required some time for everyone to adjust. The only ones pushing peklle to buy Windows 7 are the really clueless folks.

Absolutely correct, I rely on Win8 Pro just like I do with Win7... by adding one specific add-on. It performs better, feels faster, looks nicer, and uses significantly less space. My system is around 25GB, whereas my friend's Win7 Ultimate takes up about 70GB.
