The 5950x single core should perform similarly to the Ryzen 7 CPUs, simply adding more cores. If you don’t plan for an AMD APU, you can use DDR4 on Intel platforms and upgrade the CPU to a 14th generation model.

The person mentioned earlier (#8) indicated a preference for an AMD-based setup.

I just want to give a quick warning to everyone here.
I placed an order through Amazon.
Even though you mark it as NEW and Prime overnight, Amazon’s system might try to trick you. They sometimes cancel orders without real reason, offering vague or questionable excuses.
Changing parts even after confirming the order again is another issue.
Swapping a component that needs to be shipped across the country for one that’s available locally is problematic.
The final point is a clear red flag—they’re likely using an obvious scam and can’t reach the real reseller.
They attempted to replace a $1,000 case with a $100 one!
UltraParts Renewed is very suspicious.
I tried cancelling the order for three days, but every time Amazon staff lied to me.
They said it had shipped when it hadn’t.
It’s not registered in California as a business.
The website name looks like a placeholder.
A WHOIS search for UltraPartsRenewed.com leads nowhere useful—it points to Tucows.
I’m hoping someone can find a phone number.
If I had to guess, it might be a setup by Amazon to get rid of used and possibly faulty parts.
But why are you asking?
The longer they delay your refund, the more they can earn in interest.
Hey Bezos, nice setup—definitely something fishy!
