I considered purchasing and setting up a dedicated SSD for Star Citizen. What are your thoughts? Is it a good investment?

It seems like you're questioning whether the effort is worthwhile given the current options. Loading times might improve, but it's unclear if it will make a difference right now.

It's not worth the price of one SSD for a single game. Just opt for a larger SSD and save space by adding more than just Star Citizen to it.

Stay cautious, SC might become a major or even massive title. Still, it's wise to upgrade with an SSD for gaming in general.

The recommended storage should be at least 500gb, but ideally between a quarter and an eighth of that. Keeping the space partially unused will help maintain performance, especially considering the size of SC and potential mods. A 250gb might feel too limited.

I recall people once saying star citizen needed at least 100gb, but now I think it's probably around 200gb. It's unclear if an SSD would be a good investment for the game, but based on how much I've spent so far, I might consider it when it launches.

Using the start citizen setup, I could only fit two games onto my 120g SSD...
