Consider adding lightweight security scans, file integrity checks, and system monitoring utilities. Hirens Boot CD can help with disk imaging, while Superantispyware offers real-time protection. Other useful portable tools include disk checkers, registry cleaners, and memory analyzers.

I prefer memtest86 along with a solid live boot Linux distribution that suits your comfort level.

I've valued 7zip and the bulk renaming tool the most in the past.

I work with YUMI alongside a few live CDs. My installed distros include Parted Magic, Linux Mint, Knoppix. On my thumb drive I have UBCD, Hiren's utilities, memtest86+, Offline NT Password, and the Registry Editor.

I think it's a solid plan to use portable apps on another hard drive.

Current support has ended, and considering their decision to halt development during a security review suggests potential hidden features, though this may be misinterpreted. The official site directs users to trust BitLocker instead, which remains far less secure than claimed.
