Hello, your disk partition seems to be showing a much smaller free space than expected. It appears you have around 30 GB available, but when you expand the view to include hidden files, it displays about 500 GB. This discrepancy suggests something is consuming space you don’t see. Possible causes include hidden partitions, corrupted files, or incomplete scans. Checking for hidden partitions and ensuring your scan tool is updated might help clarify the situation.

There are numerous small files, and because of the cluster size, they consume more space than necessary.

There are roughly 20,000 files on that drive, which isn't a huge number. I use the storage for my ongoing video projects (I'm a video editor). Re Saksham, this shows how the disk management looks. I don't notice any problems here.

It might be a display issue with free space. You can use MiniTool Partition Wizard to reduce a partition slightly (like 1MB) before running chkdsk. Alternatively, try just checking the disk without shrinking first.
