I’m a bit of an awkward person when it comes to answering posts that are almost a year old. Still, I figured it’s better than nothing. I just installed Dead Space on my PC, and I was shocked by the Russian text I saw—it’s definitely not in English. Without wasting time, here’s the fix. Go to the original game folder. There you’ll find a folder called "text." Open it and look for a file named localetable.txt. If you can’t find it, search the game directory and you should locate it. Open this file and replace its contents with the text from there. This should work. It helped me before, just make sure you have the original copy handy in case anything goes wrong.
