Hello, I just completed purchasing and mounting all my parts. The case is quite large... I bought a Fractal Norh XL and after installing the 5080 Astral, I noticed the space between the GPU and the case is pretty tight. I had to remove the stand support from the GPU to handle its weight. Do you have any thoughts on the cables going under or the limited room for the GPU intake fans? Please advise.
Note: I’m having trouble mounting it vertically because there’s an exhaust fan built into the GPU.
Here’s a picture for reference and help. Thank you.

Seems okay to me.
If you're after compact GPU setups with almost no airflow for fans, check out older quad-SLI models.

Now that's compact. Yet the GPUs still functioned well.

So you guys wouln't worry about the airflow coming from GPU intake being close to the case and the cable having to bend?
How would you guys route the cable for the GPU? considering theres a exhaust fan on the top right of the GPU

All open-air GPUs feature fans close to the power outlet.
Here is a picture of my three builds showing clear cable routing paths:

Everything seems fine, just make sure fresh air isn't blocked in the case.

All these configurations offer significantly more space than what I have.

It seems you made the choice to opt for a smaller PC case. In general, your setup is acceptable. The GPU you have can comfortably fit in much tighter cases, such as mini-ITX configurations. Usually, about 2cm of space in front of the fans is enough.

Fractal North XL might be viewed as a minor scenario? A single eax could fit, I wasn't anticipating such a compact space beneath my GPU.
