It’s true there’s a limit to how much data fits on a boot drive. A 1TB M.2 NVMe is the biggest you can use with that setup. Your current specs suggest you’re looking at a good size for performance.

In a contemporary setup, there are no restrictions. You might even use a 100 terabyte storage device.

Currently, the largest storage device for Windows can be up to 8 petabytes, and NTFS can handle partitions of that size.
