Hello. I bought South Park: Stick of Truth and waiting for it to finish downloading (slow aussie internet) and just wondering do I need to know a bit about the show to enjoy this game or the references? I do know what South Park is ofcourse but I only watched like one or two episodes ever and some memes over the internet, maybe by enjoying this game I may start binge watching South Park episodes during the holidays. So what do you think of the game? Should I watch the TV episodes first or start with the game? Thanks! PS: In contrast I watched every episode of The Simpsons

The game is enjoyable regardless, you'll have a good time even without knowing the TV show. I think it's a hundred times better when you grasp the various references and jokes about the characters.

Since personal jokes don’t apply, stay away from taking sides on views. In my opinion, South Park offers the least interesting and most predictable humor.

Hey there, just a joke. No point getting upset.

Sure, I understand. You're okay with it, even without watching the full series. I didn't watch any episodes, just some clips online, but I really liked the gameplay overview.

He’s just playing tricks on me, but what I really want to say is I don’t watch The Simpsons for laughs—I enjoy its genuine scenes. For example, in episode 578 of season 27 (episode 4), I could clearly sense he was teasing me.

There are a few hidden surprises from the show, but the game remains enjoyable nonetheless.
