So yeah, the Hypetrain time is here. ValveTime.net reported it, and the Dota 2 blog confirmed it too. They expect Source 2 to launch in early 2015, with most other Valve games following soon after. It's definitely happening—LinusTech is already buzzing about it.

I hope they improve the presentation... I'm not a big fan of Source... Or Valve in general... Don't be mean to me... I enjoyed Portal 2...

Hammer 2 improved the process of creating maps, making it faster than what would have been possible without it.

CS:GO seems to surpass Dota 2 in terms of quality, though TF2 would benefit greatly. The present engine is quite shaky, but at least the 4 monkeys and the plant are keeping things running.

It's been a while since I've played Source games, but they still catch my attention. The graphics are terrible, with lots of invisible pixels and walls, and the game runs sluggish everywhere. I've tried every one, but some are still on my list to play.

It varies by game. Works well for solo play, but becomes problematic in multiplayer settings—especially with team-based titles. It functions okay for Dota 2 and CS:GO, yet turns into a major issue for Team Fortress 2.
