Hello. Can someone suggest how to link an app to a particular sound device and change the default settings on Windows? You mentioned using "IndieVolume" but are looking for a free alternative that works without extra costs, especially since you only need basic playback features. The simplest approach is to configure the iTunes output device to your desired setting. I'm unsure if this is feasible since Apple doesn't support such options.

It works on OS X, though not on Windows. Probably best to keep reinstalling the trial.
