I enabled XMP for my Trident Z GSKill Royal CL18 3600 16GB and it started producing audio issues everywhere. When I turned XMP off, everything worked fine. I'm also using a Ryzen 9 3900X with an ASRock X570 Steel Legend RX480, running at 1440fps with Skill Trident Z Royal CL18 16GB. Please help me with this.
These topics seem unrelated across the motherboard. If the issue isn't at the operating system level, I'd attempt to adjust the frequency, timing, or voltage manually. Check if the behavior changes. Are you connecting your audio through the rear ports or using the front panel with an HD Audio cable? That connection can sometimes act like an antenna and pick up interference.
I connect via the rear digital port, but I'm not very comfortable with it.
If it isn't software connected, perhaps you should slightly boost your VCCIO/VCCSA setting. It's possible the system agent requires a small adjustment.
This could relate to your concerns. Also consider using a Steel Legend motherboard. https://forums. Summary: Turn on XMP but slightly reduce memory multiplier or update BIOS. Raising DRAM voltage to 1.4V might help. Ryzen and memory issues are common, so this may just be another step in troubleshooting.
I just discovered that when I cranked my CPU to full capacity, it immediately overflows with static and triggers some kind of discharge across the rest of my system. It’s weird that nothing broke yet, but it still happens when I set the memory to 3600 at 1.4 volts, and completely stops at 2144.
