Hello, I recently purchased a brand new PC and noticed some audio problems after playing games. When trying to play Rockstar Social Club in-game notifications while playing GTA V, my audio devices suddenly pop and crackle for a few seconds. This also happens when I press the Home button or interact with Steam overlays using Shift+Tab. The same issue occurs during streaming on Discord and Google Meet. If the crackling continues, all my USB peripherals—like the mouse, keyboard, external HDD, and webcam—temporarily disconnect for a brief moment.
Here are my system details:
- Graphics card: MSI RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
- Storage: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
- Motherboard: ASUS Rog Strix B550-E
- Cooler: Asus Rog Strix LC 240mm Liquid
- RAM: Asus Rog Strix Helios GX601 (64 GB, 2x32) DDR4
- Case: Asus Rog Thos 1200W PSU
I've already tried several fixes: reinstalling Windows 10, updating drivers, using different sample rates and buffer sizes, testing various audio inputs and cables, disabling Superfetch, changing power plans, adjusting USB settings, and even trying beta drivers. Nothing seems to resolve the issue. Could anyone else have experienced something similar? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
It seems the audio is purely static, possibly due to insulation issues. Any unusual components inside might be causing this.
