I attempted to reattach all my gadgets, yet occasionally the keyboard fails to respond when that alert sounds. How can I resolve this issue?

It might be a driver problem, a BIOS issue, or your keyboard is likely failing.

I've never really examined USB logs before, but perhaps someone here can assist with that approach. It seems like opening Device Manager at the moment of disconnection would show which devices appear and disappear, possibly highlighting a warning if something is amiss. Once you find the device in Device Manager, you can check its properties to see its hardware ID, which might help identify the source through basic searches. This method has worked for driver problems before. There could be more effective ways, though.

Test the keyboard on a different device to identify the problem location.

All my peripherals are now connected via a USB 2.0 port and the problem is fixed. This includes the Logitech g304, non-branded keyboard, and Xbox controller.

It could be related to the USB 3.0 port itself, even after reinstalling Windows. Other factors like hardware issues or driver problems might also be involved.

It's the same issue with the new version in 2.0. I changed my BIOS, blocked Windows, and switched keyboards but nothing worked. Could it be the motherboard?
