I believe the issue lies in the fact that the monitor lacks built-in speakers. The audio jack only allows audio to be passed through, meaning it can transmit signals to another device but cannot produce sound on its own since there are no speakers receiving the signal. Excuse me for this explanation, but... unless the speakers aren't actually getting the pass-through signal?

Configure your sound settings to use the default output once your speakers are connected via the motherboard (likely Realtek).

I didn’t have speakers, so I tried using my monitor as an amplifier, but the person mentioned this monitor doesn’t include speakers, which is why I’m not receiving any sound.

The monitor lacks built-in speakers, so you'll have to purchase them separately. Edifier R12U offers affordable USB speakers as a good option.
