Hello, I've been facing a problem with Sony Vegas Pro 13 recently. When I import audio files like sound effects, the issue arises. The audio becomes distorted or mixes with other parts of the video, resulting in incorrect sound rather than the original effect. It works perfectly outside Sony Vegas but fails inside the software. Someone could help me resolve this.

This odd problem has appeared recently. I've been using Sony Vegas Pro for some time and haven't seen it before. Could you clarify what you're experiencing? This would aid in diagnosing the audio issue you're facing.

Edit: Are you running the most recent version of SVP 13?

I resolved the issue by placing the problematic files into Audacity, then exporting them as a .wav file for Microsoft compatibility with Sony Vegas.
