I’ve modified this unit but I’m still unsure about the problem (without getting too tangled) and I think it’s mainly about two things. Either there’s a software setting blocking its operation, or the potentiometer linked to the JOG wheel isn’t fully engaged (or its connection is loose). The wheel itself works fine and sends clear signals, but when you turn it, the display doesn’t update properly—this is odd for this model. If you check the manual, any mention of the JOG dial should work normally, except for actions that need to move it. Could be a menu lock or a faulty circuit. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Note: The physical dial might actually be an incremental encoder rather than a standard potentiometer.

In the end, nobody could assist me effectively (though I thought it through and didn’t owe anything). The main problem was cracks in the board where the dial received cut-off signals for rotation but not for button inputs or other features. Using jumper wires would resolve this.
I resolved it using jumper wires. The issue was under the carousel where a repair was needed. After reassembling, the jog button stopped adding discs, but it worked fine when pushing it manually. It still didn’t handle disc-to-disc transitions properly. Any tips would be appreciated.
