I keep getting weird problems with my computer. Usually, when I turn it on and start up everything works great too, and I can play all the games fine. But sometimes, when I press the power button, the fans on my graphics card don't spin at all. This means there is no picture coming out of my screen. Because that happens, I have to shut down by holding the power button. The red light on my motherboard shows up so it looks like my graphics card has died. I can't figure this out yet. Sometimes things work if I unplug and replug the cables, or if I leave them alone for a while. But it isn't always working. Between when it works and when it breaks, I do nothing at all. It just happens from time to time. My BIOS and graphics card are both up to date too. The graphics card was bought back in September 2024. Here is the list of my parts: [ https://pcpartpicker.com/user/steve...cp...ved/JpBK7P] My monitor is a TUF asus gaming screen, 24 inches, and I also have a 22 inch lenovo think vision screen as my second one.

page not found via link I guess I would first check any power connection from the power supply to the GPU. Look at the plastic connector, look for one of the wires being pushed out of the plastic connector. IE a bad connection leading to poor power. (mostly happens with the old molex connectors (white color) the black pci/e connectors can get overheat and char and make a bad connection. Some systems might use splitters from one psu power line. (bad) sleep bugs can also prevent the system from waking up. (update bios and drivers) run powercfg.exe /energy and look at the report. systems with coolers connected to USB have issues with microsoft new sleep states where the usb gets turned off to save power. (control panel, device manager right mouse click on usb hub then look at the power management tab and turn off let windows turn off this device to save power, to fix) you might also go into bios and see if your bios will report the voltages from your power supply. 12Volt, 5 volt and 3.3 Volt the voltages should be within 5 or 10% of these values.
