Hello everyone! I built my PC and tried to install Windows, but the M.2 drive isn’t showing up right away. After a few restarts it appears again, but once I restart it again it disappears completely. When I get back to the desktop after a reboot, it clears everything and I have to reinstall Windows. The BIOS is updated, so I’m not sure what’s happening.

Confirming installation. Which SSD model are you using?

Have you explored a different M.2 port? It appears to show up in BIOS about half the time as well. After reinstalling Windows, does the system display the previous partitions or presents the drive as blank?

I've tested various M.2 slots, sometimes it appears in the BIOS and other times it doesn't, and I don't think it displays the old partitions.

This seems unusual. Another thread on the forum exists—slightly varied, but potentially useful to explore.

Uncertain about locating that option; it seems to be a gigabyte-sized motherboard.

Looking for a specific Gigabyte motherboard? Please mention the exact model or features you're interested in, such as "Gigabyte B550 PRO AXEL" or "Gigabyte Z690 Pro."

I believe the issue was resolved by adjusting the BIOS settings and relocating the drive to different M.2 slots. Thanks!
