Something on your computer is conflicting with VAC TF2
Hello! One of my friends can’t join any VAC secured matches on TF2. Each time he tries, he receives this specific message (see attached screenshot). We’ve turned off PowerShell and tried everything we could find online—secure boot, disabling PowerShell, reinstalling, changing the router. Still nothing permanent; it always lets him play until he restarts, then the same issue returns. After fixing one thing, it doesn’t work again. Anyone have any long-term solutions?
bcdedit /deletevalue nointegritychecks
bcdedit /deletevalue loadoptions
bcdedit /debug off
bcdedit /deletevalue nx All one at a time
in an admin command prompt
reboot the system
The product is secured with a safe startup rule. Is it necessary to disable this security setting in your system settings?
No, it didn't. The protection measures are in place to prevent code injection, so the attempt failed.
They mentioned the secure boot policy, but there might be ways to bypass UEFI if needed.
We resolved everything successfully. Appreciate your assistance. I’ll let you know tomorrow whether it was a short-term or permanent solution.
