blackboard collaborate caused my computer to crash, and now the mouse behaves oddly. The taskbar and start menu aren’t responding at all. I disassembled the mouse without finding any obvious issues. It functions properly in Firefox, but clicking on the Blackboard Collaborate window makes it inactive with a white border. Sorry for the poor post—I need this resolved quickly.

Which mouse are you using? If your profile is up-to-date, it might be 'Some old Logitech.' But we have various Logitech options—two trackball models and a few with a rubber ball.

It seems to be an SBF-96 model, but I can't verify it immediately. I attempted using a Logitech M510, which also had the same issue.

So then, the third restart appears to be a clever move. It looks like it's functioning properly.
