It's not your television. It's likely your graphics card or the whole computer is failing. Your TV is just a display device. I think you can recreate this issue by using Furmark or running an OCCT PSU test (the PSU test checks everything in your system at once).

The screen suddenly freezes, the TV turns black, and a brief infrared flash occurs before it restarts with the home icon. It felt like pressing the power button on the remote to refresh the TV, but it took about 20 to 25 seconds.
