The top-right icon with a hexagon showing "clip captured" appears unexpectedly. I haven’t seen it before and don’t recognize where the clips are stored. I’d like to disable it soon. System specs: CPU 3600, GPU 5700xt.

It seems to be a Radeon-related software issue.

Radeon wouldn't magically know you have a kill, it would record until you stop recording by hot keys. However, there is the scenario of running AMD Overlay and hitting the hotkeys as part of gameplay, but the probability of your repeating the same key sequence for every kill is very unlikely. Most likely, it's a kill capture feature within the game itself, possibly also additional software like "punkbuster" type anti-cheats.

I figured it out. It was steel series software, I didn’t know I had accidentally turned it on. It was detecting my action and cutting it.

This really clarified my understanding of the steel series too.
