Windows 10 64 bits Mobo: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x GPU: RX570 AMD RAM: 40 GB Crucial Ballistix Micron 2x16 1x8 PSU: EVGA 600w Drives: Barracuda 2T, Sandisk SSD 120GB plus several HDDs I encounter various memory-related BSODs without a clear .sys error. It seems the issue might be linked to drivers or faulty RAM. I ran diagnostics on each drive and found no problems. The crash occurred only when using both 8GB and 16GB together, but not again afterward. According to the crash report from April 29, 2020, it was likely caused by ntoskrnl.exe with a specific bug. The system file pointed to a module error in the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION area. Another crash happened on April 28, 2020, with a different module and error code. These problems appear to be mostly memory management issues. Regarding RAM placement, I’m unsure which slots are correct since both dual-rank sticks were present but the manual didn’t specify clearly. I initially thought slots 1 and 3 were correct, but now I’m considering slot 8 for the 16GB stick. I updated drivers, repaired the SSD with Windows, and checked RAM modules by their exact model numbers. The motherboard lists support up to 64 GB, so it should be possible. However, I need more than 32GB for a stable setup, especially since my configuration uses a Ryzen 5 1600 and an RX570. I’m not sure which stick matches the correct module name on the board.
