I've been facing some problems with OC lately, so the Reddit overclocking group suggested resetting my BIOS to defaults. I did that, but now only XAMP is running and my RAM is at 3600. PBO is active, and I haven't changed voltage or core settings except for PBO. Still, I keep seeing random temperature spikes ranging from 35-40°C up to 57°C. It's confusing because the community didn’t specify if this was normal or not—they just advised a reset. I know 57°C isn’t hot, but why does it jump like that? Is this typical? I’m pretty sure my cooler is installed correctly, used a bit larger than a pea-sized paste, and everything seems fine with airflow. Please reassure me I’m not exaggerating.
