I'm having trouble with my ASUS TUF BOARD. I had a 1TB SSD with speeds in the 400s and faster write rates, but after getting a RMA from WD, the new 1TB SSD still didn't perform well. I also changed the port cables without any improvement. The newer SSD does show better speeds, but not dramatically. In Crystal Reports, the second row is faster than the first. When I swapped the CPU out of an MSI X570-A-Pro board and used it as a drive, I got speeds in the 300s. My laptop also reached 550 speeds when used as a slave in the CD-ROM port. Could this be related to the X570 or my CPU? I've tested with a Ryzen 5 3600 and taken benchmark photos, but the results are mixed. I've even tried flashing new BIOS and older ones without any change. It seems like the second row is slower than the desktop boards, but I still rely on the first row for speed. Do you have any experience with this issue?

Well, I should have clarified earlier. The model is WDS100T2B0A-00SM50, not the 1TB SSD you mentioned. On my ASUS laptop with a X570 and Ryzen 3600, I saw speeds around 550 Mbps, but on the CD drive it was 520 Mbps or lower. I thought about returning it to WD, but everything checks out—new 1TB and old 1TB drives are working fine in the photos. I’m curious if others are seeing similar slowdowns with this board or if the issue is tied to the Ryzen 3600. All tests were done with the drive connected as a slave and cables swapped.

I received a new AMD RYZEN 3600 CPU and installed it on my Asus TUF X570 board along with an MSI board, but nothing changed. The ASUS board shows 520 reads and 480 writes, while the MSI is around the 300s. My laptop with an I7 7700 gets 560 MB/s read and 520 MB/s write, so I think the issue might be with the AMD RYZEN or WD drives, or possibly a cross-brand compatibility problem with the X570.
