Some OEM laptops include directories with recovery files. If you don’t have them, you’ll need to use Windows Media.

I’d have to send her a USB of Windows, but even that would be frustrating since most installs I’ve had have errors around 70%. It’s really a hassle. What I thought was the issue, but they didn’t explain clearly when I read it.

You're asking why you need to send her a USB with Windows. It seems unclear about the purpose. Also, it looks like you're wondering if she lives somewhere without USB sales. Clarify your question for a better answer.

She lacks the technical skills. I’d use Teamviewer instead, but I didn’t want to take that chance. Also, her computer runs so slowly.

Creating a USB drive involves some risk, but it's straightforward with just one click. Just check if the process completes without issues. You can use the provided tool from Microsoft to help with the task.

That's really disrespectful! You're being too harsh, especially since you both know what happens when the laptop fails. Don't let that happen. Please respect my username.
