Games keep running smoothly on my SSD unless they're outdated or are single-player modes (or if loading times are too slow). Battlefield in particular performs well on SSD storage.
Yah and all those visuals are causing my 650ti to act sluggish during LAN Party/Spare PC. My 650ti still works fine, though I’m not sure about the potato factor. I’m counting on game optimizations and updates until launch to improve things, since the only machine I have capable of running this game is my main setup with a Core i5 4690k at normal speed and an RX480 cooler.
Multiplayer games consistently run on my SSDs. This one is mechanical since I overlooked updating the origin settings for where games are installed, whereas Steam lets me pick during setup.
I stored the game on my HDD because it was sufficient in size. The sole game on my SSD is Battlefield 4 since its loading times are too long, often taking a minute or two. After the round ends and it restarts, I feel frustrated. I wish I had saved Rainbow Six Siege on my SSD too—it would have matched Battlefield 4’s performance.
I saved it without verifying the installation drive. It's D:, my HDD. I'm still really impressed by how much quicker BF1 loads compared to BF4 from the same drive, likely because it doesn't require opening a browser plugin. The best part of BF1 is the absence of a Battlelog.
BF1 doesn't really utilize SSD speeds much. Most games don't take advantage of them.
