Run the launch command with "-threads 1" to check for issues. The Source engine reportedly dislikes dual CPU configurations.

Tested all three versions; it crashed earlier at -dxlevel 81, but functioned normally at 90 and 95. It worked in a Linux Mint 17.3 VM, though mouse control made it unusable. Now attempting to build a Windows VM to see if the issue persists.
