I will add the suggestion to run "ipconfig /all" on a wired computer with lag spikes, then do the same on a wireless computer that isn't having lag spikes. Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) through the Command Prompt and post the results here so I can tell you which one is wired and which is wireless. You should be able to copy and paste these results without typing them all over again. The "ipconfig /all" comparison results could help show what's going on.

I did this on my laptop where the first was connected through wifi then I disabled my wifi and plugged in my LAN adapter and ran it again. I just got the fix done. The issue was my network switch, and that's why putting my cable straight in the router didn't work properly. I ordered a replacement today so it will be here by tonight.
