Some users report extremely slow frame rates in MW2 Beta.
So after checking the game files, things seemed to improve temporarily. But when I logged off and came back later, the problem reappeared. I spent a long time tweaking settings and even restarted the PC, but nothing stuck. Eventually I restarted the whole system and it worked again. Based on this, my idea is that there might be an issue with memory caching on the graphics card, CPU, or RAM. I suspect it could also relate to engine limitations in COD. I'm still trying to figure out a solid fix.
