Intel struggled a long time with the Windows 8.1 update for XTU, I’d expect the same with Windows 10. Their power management issues for integrated graphics were major, so Microsoft even sent a team to assist. Intel excels in hardware when they invest effort, but they’ve historically lagged in software development.

Hi everyone, I have the same problem too. It seems that having XTU before upgrading to Windows 10 still works. I was trying to undervolt my 4790K using XTU, but I found out many other tuning tools don’t function on Windows 10 because Microsoft blocks their installation. If Windows prevents installation, just change the name of the setup file and it should work, then alter the name of the executable file.

Hello, The issue appears to involve drivers and the driver signature system, not the executable blocking directly.
