Hello, your attempt to use the ASUS OC tuner is limiting the R7 5700X to 3.6 GHz instead of its intended boost speed. It might be due to BIOS settings or compatibility issues. Check the manufacturer's guidelines or contact support for further assistance.
Do not utilize the ASUS OC tuner. Reset the CMOS and simply activate PBO.
I completed the testing and noticed a decline in performance across various benchmarks compared to my previous results. Repeated questions from others confirmed this trend. Additionally, PBO Auto is also affected.
I didn't perform a clean CMOS reset and simply applied default settings in the BIOS, which resolved the 3.6 GHz performance issue.
If this happens, your motherboard is likely configured with poor power limits (PBO settings are unusual). Raising them too much can hurt performance. Try switching PBO mode to "Advanced" and adjusting EDC, TDC, and PPT values around 80-80-100 to test for improvement.
It seems the Fmax enhancer might be another ASUS feature that isn't functioning correctly. It's best to keep it turned off.
