They mention compatibility for the 5800X3D, possibly all 5000 series models. However, their listings only include the B350 Mortar. I checked the MSI website and found a BIOS update for my B350 M Mortar, but no confirmation about support for the 5000 series CPUs. It seems unclear whether a BIOS upgrade is needed or if I should consider a different CPU model. This is confusing, especially with the M/M differences.

the main issue is that I don’t see the 5000 series there. wccftech mentioned it adds compatibility edits, but I might have missed the details. they confirmed "b350m mortar" is correct. still, it’s not visible on the msi site.

Are you looking for instructions on using your motherboard support page? It confirms compatibility with the latest BIOS.

Hey, I'm on the phone... the page looks totally different now... no "vermeer" at all... but thanks, that makes it clear. I'm coming from 5600x here! (I can't really afford a 5800x3d, lmao)
