It's a pretty outdated machine, at best. 14-year-old processors will have trouble with even the simplest tasks, even with two in use.

setup at the absolute minimum. reducing resolution could be necessary. this equipment is quite old, and GTA is already a poor translation to start with.

It performs well with basic functions. The game runs smoothly at 60fps, though the textures are the main issue.

It doesn't even support the second option, since most games can't handle a second CPU. Basically it's similar to playing on your mom's old office computer Tongue

You're using a dual-core ancient CPU paired with a low-end GPU and some RAM. It makes sense it's running into problems.

Have you adjusted the texture quality to performance in the NV control panel? If not, consider trying that.

That's right, but keep in mind the classic PC advice that anything can run with just enough reduced settings—though this might be a texture loading issue or something else.

It also doesn't assist because of the unusual RAM amount. You're losing dual channel, which usually isn't an issue but for a system barely capable of running the game, it needs maximum support.

That is true but there is a limit. This is a low end core 2 duo machine here and well you can only go so far before it no longer works
