I haven't tested it with many games yet, but with a few I've tried when launching the game, the "preparing to launch..." popup shows normally, but after closing it, the actual window doesn't open. The game remains in Task Manager as a background process rather than an app. Also, sometimes it allows me to start multiple versions of the same game. Any advice?

After roughly an hour of restarting my computer searching for the startup service linked to game loading problems, I've identified the likely cause.
1.press windows key+R to open Run program.
2.type 'msconfig' then enter.
3.select 'selective startup
4.go to services tab and check the box labeled 'hide all Microsoft services'
5.scroll to the 'NVIDIA cooperation' and uncheck the 'NVIDIA localsytem selector' box
6.click 'apply' and 'okay' then when prompted, click the restart button and that may solve your issue.
