Hey, I noticed my new PC occasionally makes clicking sounds. It's summer, and until now I kept the fan running nonstop, so I didn't hear much else. Sometimes, without much thought, I hear 1 or 2-3 clicks whether I'm browsing or playing games. It's not the fans themselves, they don't touch anything. If they did, I'd definitely hear it constantly. To be more precise, imagine the noise some power supplies make when you press the power button to start up the PC—probably from protection features—but it's much quieter. Could this indicate an issue with my system? What do you think?

It usually happens very rarely, mostly after I open the computer or occasionally while using it. Could it be due to CPU undervolting or some BIOS settings? Or is this normal? Thanks!
Levent pointed out that hard drives may click unpredictably. This clicking can happen when they switch between power-saving modes. On certain drives, adjusting Windows power settings doesn't always make a difference. Some hard drives become noisy if an app requests its SMART information. If background processes are running, even simple apps reading temperature data might trigger this behavior. Seagate's models tend to be more noisy compared to other brands.
