The numbers shown look unusually low for current benchmarks. The latest M4 chip is reportedly among the fastest single-core CPUs ever, surpassing even the I9 14900KS. If you're questioning these results, it might be worth double-checking the source or clarifying what specific metrics are being reported.
Of course, I understand. A pixel 7 pro doesn't really exist, and having a 5900x resolution isn't realistic. Sometimes names can be made up too.
I meant “a lot” in terms of performance per watt, and with the M4 being clocked noticably lower than the i9, being passively cooled, and being able to achieve even higher single core speeds in an actively cooled and much higher wattage and clocked Ultra or even Extreme M4 version in the Mac Studio or Mac Pro. But good I’m not the only one who can see the top of the list is fake. I’ve also written to geekbench support about this, and I’m awaiting a reply.
If that matters to you, then fixing things online is really a huge waste of time.
