Hey there! I installed a 64GB RAM module about four months ago, upgrading from 32GB. It’s been giving me some issues lately. I can’t overclock it and it keeps crashing when my CPU or RAM usage is high—especially while editing photos or videos in Lightroom or Premiere. I’ve attached some screenshots of my board, RAM, and CPU for reference. The previous kit worked fine at 3200MHz, so I’m wondering if the problem might be with the new setup. It’s not listed as compatible in the manufacturer’s specs, but since my old Trident Z did it, maybe it can too. Any tips or checks would be great! Thanks! Nick

Official backing for the 2950x reaches up to 2933MHz. While many 2950 models likely handle 3200 smoothly, it's not assured. Only units at 2933MHz or lower are confirmed. The boost to 3200 is available on the 3000 series processors.

Could be necessary to lower the frequency when moving from a single rank to a dual rank.

Thanks for the guidance. I successfully got the RAM running at 2933mhz after some adjustments, though it would be great to speed it up further. I'll continue testing and observe the results. It's a bit time-consuming (but I think it counts as overclocking!).
