I last upgraded my PC in 2016 and haven’t paid much attention to motherboards or processors since. I’m planning a new build with 32GB RAM and a 2080ti. I’m unsure what processor to choose—should I go for an i9-9900k? It might be too much for gaming, but it could still work well. (Future-proofing is okay.) Also, do you have any suggestions for motherboards? I don’t know much about the latest models and have found few helpful guides. Any advice would be appreciated.
I imagine installing a Ryzen 9 3900X on an ASUS X570 motherboard.
