Hello! For your B365M-pro4 motherboard, DDR4 2666 MHz RAM works well and is reliable. You can safely use higher frequency RAM without issues. If you're looking for good value, brands like Crucial, Kingston, and Corsair offer solid options in this price range. Just ensure the RAM matches your motherboard's specifications.

Most RAM brands like Corsair and G.Skill source RAM from several manufacturers including SK Hynix, Micron, Samsung, and more. It’s generally safe to purchase from reputable online stores. Which platforms are you considering for your purchase?

Absolutely. Choose the highest supported frequency and the cheapest option, but opt for quad channel if available.

You mean dual channel. Quad channel is only available on higher end chipsets that are meant for workstation(if i'm not wrong X299 is quad channel) Mainstream Ryzen and Intel CPUs(ie Ryzen 7 or i7 etc.) are dual channel. Most motherboards have 4 ram slots, so you'll have 2 ram slots per channel. There is no significant advantage of using up all slots of RAM compared to only 2, besides aesthetic reasons. So essentially, OP should just get the cheapest 2666MHz kit that has 2 sticks of RAM(ie 16GB kit should be 2x8, 8GB kit should be 2x4GB) I'd recommend 16GB if @Mchedlo is unsure of capacity

Absolutely, you'll notice the variation when you check a FPS test on YouTube.

I’d pick Corsair, Trident, or Kingston. Best RAM, simple setup.

Between 2 and 4 RAM sticks is a good range for many systems. If your CPU supports dual-channel processing, it can help improve performance. You might find helpful videos explaining this on platforms like YouTube—just search for "dual channel RAM benefits."
