Making it function is the main challenge here. It’s disappointing that some classic PC titles are available on modern platforms like Steam or GOG, while others remain locked away due to outdated compatibility issues with older operating systems.

Interesting. Just to note, the texture upgrades aren't enabled, which might affect clarity.

PCSX2 should support saving presets, so I don’t have to sift through settings every time I want to tweak the games. Using DirectDraw is especially frustrating for me.

... and enable a specific configuration linked to a particular title so that upon launching you only need to begin the experience and all adjustments are handled automatically. The big figure Obelix was known for... Asterix is the more straightforward character, reflecting the same challenges most recent "HD" reissues face today. You might notice they really invested in improving the look and feel for older systems—like the Resident Evil remake or Zero—but often they just kept the original release as-is, upgraded rendering settings, added an "HD" label, and rebranded it for new consoles (such as Xbox 360/One or PS3/4) while Steam handled the rest with low-quality visuals and blurry footage.

I actually started a discussion about this, but it's not really about CS. The main concerns are about getting IP and piracy. Emulation isn't against the rules either, otherwise talking about VMs and WINE would also be against CS.

They maintained a broad approach, such as banning unauthorized ROMs. It addresses the theft of games you haven’t purchased.

HI, this is an old post I hope I will get an answer from someone. I download Tekken 4 and I install the PS2 Emulator named PCSX2 but I can't found the sound. When I start the game it has the sound but after starting the battle there is no sound, why is that. I download the game and the emulators from the same website.
