Here are some alternative phrasings for your message:

- I’m starting with my setup: 16GB RAM, RTX 2080 Ti, Ryzen 7 5700X, running at 2666MHz. Over the last couple of weeks, Fortnite has been lagging a lot, but I can’t pinpoint the issue. My CPU or GPU isn’t at full capacity. I’m playing on Epic settings with TSR max at around 66%. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? If so, what did you do to resolve it? P.S. This sometimes occurs in other games too.

I also face similar issues with frequent stuttering, sometimes lasting nearly ten seconds during gameplay. My setup includes an i5-3470 and a GTX 950, which means the problem stems from high CPU usage and bottlenecks, especially when the processor is near full capacity. Over time, after about 10 to 15 minutes of play, the stuttering usually stops and performance improves, though FPS drops instead of freezing. In your case, I believe it’s likely the same pattern—early gameplay struggles give way to smoother performance after a while, even with your hardware. It might be more related to the game itself rather than just your PC condition.

Stop using Epic settings for Fortnite. Try competitive settings for a few matches to check if the performance improves. Epic or ultra modes don’t really fit unless you’re just playing a short session to see what it looks like. After that, return to normal settings because FPS and stutters can be an issue. With the latest update, they usually release fixes after about a week for new weapons and bugs.
