I’m really sure it’s the top choice, since you have a whole year to upgrade for free. I don’t think it’ll be available to everyone—especially those without a Windows license, because it wouldn’t make sense for them and Microsoft would lose money. (It’s a bit of a confusing situation for them.)
Windows 10 offers a free version to 7 out of 8 users if they refresh within a year post-release. Once updated, it remains yours.
