I agree with your perspective. Farming simulator offers all the necessary controls in the upper left corner of the screen (you can disable them by pressing F1). It wasn't too difficult to get started. There was a minor learning phase for questions like "What should I harvest sunflowers for?" or "Can my machine process this plant?" However, once you understand the menu symbols, it becomes quite straightforward. I appreciate that there are "missions" available to let you practice with newer tools before purchasing or renting them.
