Over the last couple of months I've been working with a tool called One Note from Microsoft. It's really useful, particularly in school settings. I use it on both my laptop and gaming PC. When combined with OneDrive (formerly Skydrive), you can create notebooks, add sections, insert pages, and everything syncs automatically to the cloud. It’s convenient for school tasks since you don’t have to worry about USB drives or sending files via email. You can also export content to a Word document and include Excel spreadsheets. I was curious if others use it—if not, it's a solid alternative to Microsoft Word and I strongly suggest giving it a try.

It was already set up on my school computer, which is why I rely on it for most tasks.

I attempted to use it for professional tasks, but it performed significantly worse than Word for note-taking and everyday work.

It lacks many Word features and personalization options. Ideal for basic tasks.

I frequently use it on my phone—it's super useful for jotting down memos or making shopping lists. With OneDrive, it automatically syncs with my PC. I'd really like to be in the US though; they were offering free 20GB there.

I favor Evernote because of its sleek interface, the excellent iPad and Mac versions (plus online access), and its compatibility with Skitch, which I rely on often. I’ve experimented with a single note but found it unappealing. Office in general feels too heavy-handed for me.

The business Box regularly offers deals, providing 50GB for new users. This is why I continue to rely on it.
